Shine bright and make a statement with these rose gold fill fringe earrings!

I have suspended rows of tiny Ethiopian opals and amazonite gems in hand-formed rose gold frames by securely wire wrapping them.  The opals have a lovely glow in the light and flash colors of pink, green, and blue!
The fringe on the bottom consists of chain and hammered rose gold discs that will move back and forth for glittery sparkle!

*Please note that opal is naturally a more delicate stone, so extra care is recommended when handling and wearing opal jewelry.
Do not wear your opals in water as most Ethiopian opals are considered to be a "hydrophane" opal which naturally has the ability to absorb water, which may in some cases change their color.

All of our ear wires are made from scratch in our studio using 20 gauge wire.  They are formed, lightly hammered for strength, and polished for shine!

Materials:  14k rose gold fill, Ethiopian opal, and amazonite.

Size:  about 1 3/4" in total length.

WHAT IS GOLD FILLED?
14kt gold filled is a layer of solid 14kt gold (gold alloy) bonded to a jeweler's brass core.
Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating - Gold-filled jewelry has 100x more gold alloy than gold plated and because that layer is so much thicker, it means gold-filled jewelry lasts longer and stands up to wear and tear better than gold plated. All it would take is one small scratch on a gold-plated piece to expose the jeweler’s brass underneath.
